Pensham.
The
Will of ANN GREAVES late of Pensham Widow deceased 287th May 1837 (date of
proving added later)
In
the Name of God Amen I Ann Greaves of Pensham in the County of Worcester widow
do declare this to be my last will and Testament and I here declare in the presence[sic]
of Almighty God that in the dispositoion[sic] I here make of the property lent
at my disposal by my late Husband John Greaves I am influenced only by a desire
to act with equal Justice to all my Children
I
give and Bequeath to my Daughter Julia Ann Greaves the sum of Five
Hundred
pounds of Lawfull[sic] Money Likewise to my son William Greaves the sum of Three Hundred pounds Also to my
Daughter Hannah Gore the sum of one hundred pounds.. .1 likewise give and
bequeath to my Grandson Frederick Greaves the son of James Greaves the sum of
one Hundred pounds with the Mahogany Round Table in Bed Room and the Chest of
Drawers in my son Thomas Room to be received by him at the Age of 25 years and
if he does not live to arrive at that age to fall to the residue of my Estate

later: 27th May 1837 The sole Executor named appeared... .swore that the personal
Estate or the Testatrix who died on or about the 2nd day of December 1836 does
not amount in value to the sum of two thousand pounds.
